The safety of our staff and clients during the COVID-19 outbreak is our number one priority.

So on Monday we had the rest of the site team face fitted in reusable FP3 masks. Apprentices through to the management team. (We have chosen reusable masks to ensure we limit the amount of masks we use and therefore not taking resources from the NHS)

We have also updated our risk assessments and implemented new COVID-19 standard operating procedures. Therefore all of our clients can be reassured that JDL will be not only working to the governments guidelines, but in many cases exceeding them.

Please excuse our teams bad hair, like most people our team will be keeping the hairdressers busy once they reopen πŸ˜‚ Meila Hairdressing Richard Brookes

COVID-19 Update - JDL are back open for business

Following the governments guidance that electrical, plumbing and heating work should continue, we have implemented health and safety measures and revised our working procedures to ensure the safety of our staff and clients before making the decision that we are returning to work.

This week we have had members of staff face fitted to a reusable mask to make sure that we are not taking up PPE resources that would otherwise be available to the NHS. The NHS and all key workers are doing a fantastic job and it is very much in the forefront of our mind that we do not effect this in anyway.

We will be working on sites that have implemented the correct safety measures and we will also be working in domestic homes where we can ensure social distancing is maintained.

Small works - Many people are turning to DIY during the lock down period, please see if we can help with your electrical, plumbing and heating requirements. We would rather you employed any competent trades person than carry out potentially dangerous work that may put your family at risk.

JDL Projects - We available to start work on new projects at short notice. If you have a lack of resource please call / email the office.

We hope you are all staying safe and we hope to see you soon.

COVID-19 Update
Following the governments latest advice we have temporary closed our office until further notice.

All of our site projects team will be sent home today after they have made the sites safe, isolated and drained down water etc.

Our minor works team has cancelled all jobs that are not deemed essential at this time.

As a moral obligation we have set up a during normal working hours emergency call out service. Instead of our usual emergency call out fees, this service will be charged at standard rates (see website for more details).
