Well we did it, some long hard miles in the sun, a puncture, removed signs meaning we did a detour, loose handlebars and 24 degree heat!

It’s been a great experience and with your help we’ve managed to raise over £2,150 for Action Medical Research. Thank you soo much, to everyone who’s donated and the event organisers

Well done!

Awesome work 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

All packed and ready to go!

We have not only exceeded our target on the sponsorship, we’ve smashed it and are nearly at £2000.00. So we just wanted to say a massive thankyou to everyone who has supported us and wished us well. It really is an amazing charity and we are thrilled to be able to do our part. In total the event has raised over £60k so far 👍👍

We will update you over the weekend and let you know how we have got on. It’s going to be a hot one so I hope you all enjoy the sun while we are sweating it out 😂

Thanks again, and if there is anyone who still wants to donate the link is below! With the challenge date now looming, James, Dominic, Liam, and Anthony are into the final week of their training and preparation.

If you didn't see our previous post, the JDL Directors and Anthony are taking part in a dawn to dusk challenge which consists of a 55-mile bike section, 11-mile hike, and 2-mile Kayak section all to be completed next Saturday in the Brecon Beacons in Wales.

The purpose of the challenge is to raise money for an excellent children's charity "Action Medical Research for Children". Our goal is to raise £1,800.00, and with the help of our supply chain, family and friends we have so far raised £1,420.00 so we are very close to our target. A massive thanks goes out to everybody that has sponsored us so far, it is very much appreciated.

Below is the link to our Just giving page for the event. Any donations would be very much appreciated to help us reach our goal and help the charity by raising as much as we can.

Recent project completion

Continuing our excellent working relationship with Lindum Group York, we have recently completed the M&E installation works on the new Institute of Technology building at the Beverley Campus of Bishop Burton College. The building contains a large workshop area and multiple classrooms. All areas are heated via infrared electric heating which is offset by the Solar PV panels on the roof. #TeamJDL #construction #SolarPV #electricalcontractor #mechanicalcontractor #Niceic #ECA

The properties of this development in Bootham, York we have recently completed alongside StructEco Ltd are now on the market. The pictures of the apartments and townhouse look stunning with picturesque views of the York Minster.
On this project, JDL completed the full M&E design and installation through the landlord areas, 8 apartments, and 3 storey townhouse. #TeamJDL #electrical #plumbing #schneiderelectric #Hager #Collingwoodlighting #Idealboilers # #property

The swimming pool, gym and clip and climb facilities are now open at the LNER Community Stadium. This is a fantastic facility for the area and we certainly can’t wait to have a go at the clip and climb.

JDL carried out the electrical installation on behalf of SES engineering within the leisure building, commercial building and the external lighting.
